While buying feminine hygiene products, Calma meets the guy of her dreams at the local Crazi-Cheep grocery store. She manages to get a job there, foil an attempted robbery, and meet the dreamboat. Unfortunately, controlling and figuring out the rest of her life eludes her. She communicates with her mom, “The Fridge”, by leaving notes for her on the refrigerator. Her dad, who disappeared from their lives years ago, suddenly reappears. Her best friend, Vanessa, the most laid-back person in the world, falls apart. All of a sudden, life as Calma had it figured out begins to confuse and confound her.
